Ramses Bekkenk had a good start in his Australian adventure called Crocodile Trophy. Today he finished 4th in the first stage over 33 kilometres and 900 altimetres on the Cross Country course in Cairns.
“I am glad we have started the race. The pace was high in this short opening stage and in combination with the heath it made me suffer several times during this first stage. But ok that’s what you know in front when you head for Australia. From tomorrow we will have complete different and longer stages which normally are more suited to me.”, stated a satisfied Bekkenk.
