Long day in the saddle for Robby de Bock in Transalp

Today the longest stage of Transalp was on the program over 118 kilometres from Mittersill to Sillian. This made todays stage also the longest one in 2015 Transalp. It looked like the first climb to Tauernkreuz at 2400 metres was ever lasting but de Bock had a good day which he finished after 5:55:36 on thirteenth place in the total field.RobbyTA3_Start

‘Man I suffered a lot today and especially on the first climb where we had to walk uphill for a while. In the downhill section I caught up with a fast group and we worked well together in the fast midsection of the race. In the end it became more technical with short climbs and descends and I managed to get away on my own. ’, stated a satisfied de Bock.
