In German Sauerland Karen Brouwer took already her seventh victorie of this season yesterday. The mountainbike marathon over 95 kilometres started at half past seven in the morning and the riders had to do a 300 altimetres climb straight from the start. After the first descend Brouwer already took the lead and managed to keep it till the finish line. 
Teammate Ramses Bekkenk missed the leading group of six in his race over 130 kilometres. So his race was more or less a long solo which brought him to seventh place and first Master (40+). With Gerben Mos, Robby de Bock and Stefan Vreugdenhil finishing at ninth, tenth and fifteenth place team KMC showed a great team performance during this Bikefestival.
