Bram Rood had a good weekend in s’Heerenberg in which he was on the podium three times. On Saturday he won a cross country race over 120 minutes in which teammate Bart Barkhuis finished fifth. On Sunday Rood still had good legs although teammate Gerben Mos and winner Bas Peters finished in front of him in a marathon over 105 kilometers. Both results were enough to bring Rood the overall win as well.
