The first stage in Transalp from Ruhpolding to Saalfelden was unfortunately also the last one for Bram Rood and Robby the Bock. In the descend to Hallenstein Rood crashed and had a deep cut in his left knee. Both riders continued the race and even finished at 15th place but a visit to the hospital afterwards confirmed their presumption that Bram would not be able to continue. De Bock will continue the race as an individual rider.
