Bram Rood and Gerben Mos did a good job by finishing third in third stage as this place resulted in a third place in general classification. Almost whole stage they were in the lead but as all riders in front they had to deal with two flat tires in the last descend. 
Stage four went from De Rust to Swartberg Mountain at 1800 meters altitude. From the start a group wit all favorites arose and there were not so much attacks. Those were kept behind for the last climb of the Swartberg. The leading group splintered and all duo’s arrived solo at the finish line. Rood and Mos arrived on fifth place and were able to increase their lead on duo Philip-Buis. The stage was won by South African duo Mattys-Beukes who are the leaders in GC as well.
