After nearly missing the podium by five seconds in the prologue and their adversity in stage one with a broken rim and flat tire Bram Rood en Gerben Mos showed what they are really worth today. In a compact leading group they survived the first climb but lost contact with the leaders in the following climbs. Afterwards it appaered they choose a good race tactic as they rode a strong final part of the race which brought them to second place behind winners Heyns en Beukes in this 86 kilometer long stage from George to Oudshoorn. In the General Classification Rood and Mos are still at 4th place just three seconds behind number three. Tommorrow’s stage will head to ‘De Rust’ over 94 kilometers.
