Ramses Bekkenk and Bram Rood showed their presence in the first edition of the Dutch Masters of MTB in Haarle. This race over 200 kilometers in Dutch province Overijssel is new and the first edition was a hard one. Despite muddy circumstances Bram Rood managed to finish in eight hours, four minutes and fifty seconds.
‘It was real tough race and I rode almost whole race together with Ramses. As I was bit stronger I went on my own in the last part. Great to win this first edition of Dutch Masters of MTB under these severe circumstances.’, stated Rood. Bekkenk was out of food in the last part of the race and saw Wouter Hendriksen pass him and finished on a well earned third place.
