In Langdorp, Belgium, Lola Bakker crossed the finish line in second place on Sunday, six seconds behind winner Annemijn van Limpt. Bakker had included a Cross Country race in her schedule for the first time in a long time and thoroughly enjoyed herself during the 3-Nations Cup in Langdorp.
“It was a magnificent course through the forest with a few nice jumps. Something we also often focus on during Reza Ravenstein’s mountainbike training, so those skills came in handy. This coming weekend I have the Ardennes Trophy on the schedule, and the weekend after that the marathon in Willingen, Germany,” said Bakker.
