Tropical circumstances this weekend in Germany at the Wiesbaden Marathon as well as at the Dutch coast in Hargen at the the Makelaarsland MTB Challenge. It looked like Bram Rood and Ramses Bekkenk did not suffer from the heat as they rode to victory with a comfortable lead. It took Bekkenk a bit more time than Rood as he had to ride 122 kilometres which he did it in five hours and five minutes. The Makelaarsland MTB Challenge starts and finishes on the beach in Hargen and the riders do a full lap on the mountainbike track in Schoorl which is in total around 30 kilometres.
