On 19th of July Transalp will start in Ruhpolding with KMC-Mitsubishi-Koga duo Bram Rood and Robby de Bock. The Transalp is a seven days stage race for mountainbikers starting in Germany leading via Austria to the finish in Italy in Riva del Garda.
For Rood it is his fifth participation in this tough mountainbike stage race and with teammate Ramses Bekkenk he finished several times in top ten. Last year he rode with Stefan Vreugdenhil and they ranked at place thirteen. Belgium rider de Bock will make his debut in this year’s Transalp and is looking forward to this challenge through the Alps.
