Due to an injury Ad de Brabander didn’t have a prosperous start of this Beach race season. Last weeks he showed improving form and everyone could see he was someone to take into account for the last races. Today he attacked several times and it looked just like last year he would win the Westland MTB Challenge but it was his KMC teammate Stefan Vreugdenhil who managed to catch up with him and beated him in the sprint. Behind Vreugdenhil and de Brabander Cees Snoek finished at third place.
