Rozanne Slik from the village Bergen near the Dutch coastline will join the KMC mountainbiketeam in 2020. Slik was riding on the road for Sunweb, FDJ and Tibco in the past years. The mountainbike sport is not new for her as in 2012 Slik finished second in the National Championships mountainbike in the women Elite category. Last year she won the prestigious beachrace in Egmond.
‘I want to do some more adventurous mountainbike races in combination with beachraces in the future. As the KMC team is competing in stage races like Cape Pioneer and Transalp for many years and is active from the nineties on the beach it’s the right team for me. I hope to learn from an experienced rider like Ramses Bekkenk and look forward to do some duo races with Karen Brouwer.’, stated Slik.
