Mountainbikers Robbert de Nijs and Bram Rood will travel to South Africa at the end of October. They will compete as a duo in Cape Pioneer which will lead them from the coast near Mossel Bay to Oudshoorn in seven days. Rood and de Nijs who live close to each other at the west coast in the Netherlands both had to deal with some misfortune this season. Rood injured his knee in the first stage of Transalp which forced him to rest for a while and de Nijs needed a pause in his season as well to find his right shape back. Now both riders feel fit again and shape is improving they decided to extend their mountainbike season with a great adventure in South Africa.
