6th stage with start and finish in Irvinebank went over 101 kilometres and ‘only’ 1700 altimetres. That meant high speed and also some tactic was involved in this relative flat stage. Although he could nog keep up with the leading group at the start of this stage it was again Cory Wallace who won the stage in front of Bekkenk and Spanish rider Ramos.
