On the 15th of July the TransAlp will start in Imst with KMC-Intal duo Gerben Mos and Robbert de Nijs. The Transalp is a seven days stage race for mountainbikers which will start in Austria this year. The bikers will ride over more than five hundred kilometers across the Alpes to the finish line in the Italian village Arco at the beautifull Lake Garda. 
For both bikers it will be their first participation in this tough mountainbike stage race. Duo Bram Rood and Ramses Bekkenk, teammates of Gerben Mos, managed to finish in top ten several times in the past. Ofcourse Mos and de Nijs are eager to at least equalize this result. Both men are looking forward to their mountainbike adventure crossing the Alpes.
