The 22-year-old Lola Bakker will ride for the KMC mountain bike team in 2025. Bakker showed impressive form in the second half of this season with victories in the Amerongen marathon and the Hondsrug Classic, as well as a second place at the National Championships Marathon in Eijsden during the Bart Brentjens Challenge.
“I have been living in Nijmegen since July, where I have fantastic training opportunities for mountain biking,” says Bakker. “In 2025 I will focus on a combination of marathons and cross-country races. In addition, I will also be active on the beach in the coming period. My goal is to be at my best during the European and National Championships Marathon and to achieve a good result there.”
