In the Austrian Ischgl, Rozanne Slik awaits a varied mountain bike ‘week’ at the beginning of August during the Ischgl Ironbike stage race. This four-day stage race starts on Wednesday with a time trial of 7.2 kilometers over asphalt and gravel. The following day, a short evening drive from the center of Ischgl to the Alpenhaus, located at an altitude of 2320 meters, is on the program over an illuminated track.
The center of Ischgl is also the setting for the short track race through the city on Friday. On a 3.2 kilometer course with 104 vertical meters, the riders battle for the victory for twenty-five minutes. On Saturday it will be concluded with the Ischgl Ironbike marathon through the impressive Silvretta Massif nature reserve. This marathon is characterized by the steep climbs and has no less than 3700 altimeters at a distance of 77 kilometers!
