It was soon the eventual winner Puck Pinxt, Mari\u00eblle Trouwborst, Rozanne Slik, Nina Kessler and Femke Markus who took the lead. Shortly after the start of the last lap, Slik and Markus dropped away but they managed to catch up with the leaders again. The women could therefore prepare for a sprint for the victory. In this, Pinxt beat Markus and Trouwborst.
