Early in the race both men left the bunch behind and gradually extended their lead. \u2018We worked well together and in that case riding with only two men is enough on this great technical course. With one lap to go Jasper put some extra power to the pedals and I couldn\u2019t keep up with him. Luckily I still have two weeks left to get in topshape for the European Championships beachrace in Scheveningen.\u2019, stated Rood.
