Though similar stage races usually contain long, flat parts \u2013 often over asphalt-, in the Beskidy mountains climbs and descents are formed of stones, sand and tree stumps. The challenge in each stage is not necessarily provided by length, but rather by altimeters and the tough surface.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/KarenEtappe4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2597\" title=\"KarenEtappe4\" src=\"https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/KarenEtappe4-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/KarenEtappe4-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/KarenEtappe4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/KarenEtappe4-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For KMC-Mitsubishi-Koga, the Beskidy MTB Trophy was very successful with three stage wins for Karen Brouwer. Though losing the first stage due to a wrong turn in the course, Karen showed to be the strongest rider in the remaining stages, therefore winning the overall ranking.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/RamsesEtappe4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2598\" title=\"RamsesEtappe4\" src=\"https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/RamsesEtappe4-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/RamsesEtappe4-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/RamsesEtappe4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mountainbiketeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/RamsesEtappe4-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ramses won the third and fourth stage, taking second place in the overall ranking behind Polish Patryk Piasecki.
